Infinity – The Endless Cycles of Existence

Time is an illusion. We move in circles, in the rhythm of recurring cycles that seem endless. Birth, growth, decline, and demise—only for it all to begin again. “Infinity” captures this inevitable cycle, a visual representation of the perpetual flow of existence, where individual beings merge into a continuously repeating pattern.

Nameless, faceless figures, separate yet identical, continue their infinite march. Are they individuals, or mere variations of the same existence? Are they those who came before us, ourselves, or those who will follow? This sequence has no beginning and no end—like the reflection of eternal reincarnation, like the echoes of ancient civilizations fading into the dust of history, only to rise again.

Black as a Symbol of Wisdom and the Absorption of Time

The model’s body is covered in black paint, making her part of an infinite pattern. She ceases to be a unique being and transforms into a universal symbol of existence, repeating endlessly. Her form blends with the surroundings, erasing the boundaries between the individual and the whole, between the present moment and eternity.

Black here does not merely signify darkness or the absence of light; it represents the space between being and non-being, between beginning and end—a state beyond time. In ancient Egyptian tradition, black was the color of wisdom and knowledge, a symbol of the experiences accumulated through cycles of past lives. It is not a color of emptiness but of essence, of understanding that transcends generations. Each figure in this image is part of a chain, carrying the hidden wisdom of infinite repetition.

The recurring motif of heads and shoulders creates the illusion of infinite motion, of constant return and continuation. This visual element reinforces the idea of individual anonymity within the grand cycle of history. We exist, yet we are replaceable. Personal identity dissolves within infinity, leaving only the pattern, the imprint, the essence of life that returns again and again in the same rhythm.

What Is Real and What Repeats?

The artwork “Infinity” is both a question and an answer. Are we part of the pattern, or are we the ones creating it? Perhaps both. And perhaps it doesn’t matter at all. The cycle continues. Wisdom endures. Infinity remains.
